Matchday Survivor is a free-to-play football survivor community. Each round you choose one team that you think will win their match.

If your team wins, you survive. If they draw or lose, your run ends.

Yes. The current Matchday Survivor community is completely free to play.

Create a Matchday Survivor account while entries are open.

If you already have an account from an earlier competition, simply sign in and choose Enter Competition.

No. Your Matchday Survivor account is permanent.

When another competition opens, sign in using the same account and enter the new competition. Your team history starts fresh for that competition.

Email verification helps keep Matchday Survivor free from fake, duplicate and automated accounts.

Your account does not become a valid competition entry until verification has been completed.

Exactly one team.

You can change your choice before you confirm it, but only one selection can be confirmed for each round.

Your selected team must win their match.

A draw is not enough. A draw or defeat means elimination.

No. Once you use a team, that team cannot be selected again during the same competition.

When a completely new competition begins, your used-team history resets.

You can switch between teams before confirming your selection.

Once your selection has been confirmed, it is locked for that round unless an administrator needs to correct a genuine fixture or system error before the deadline.

If you are entered and still alive but fail to make a valid selection before the published deadline, you are eliminated when the round is processed.

New entries close when the first round of that competition begins.

The system uses the earlier of the published competition entry cutoff or the first fixture kick-off in Round 1.

No. Once Round 1 has started, no new players can enter that competition.

They can enter when the next Matchday Survivor competition opens.

The current selection deadline appears on your player dashboard and on the Matchday Survivor homepage.

Always make sure your pick is confirmed before the displayed deadline.

Once all relevant fixtures have finished, the Matchday Survivor round is processed.

Your account then updates to show whether you survived or were eliminated.

Visit the Results page.

It shows the latest processed round, teams selected, scores, selection numbers and whether those picks survived or were eliminated.

You are eliminated. Your selected team must win the fixture.

That player is declared the Matchday Survivor competition winner.

The competition is then completed and kept in the competition history.

Not necessarily.

A winner may be found after only a few rounds. When that happens, the competition finishes and another one can begin from the next suitable Premier League gameweek.

Yes. When a new competition opens, everyone can start again while entries are open.

Yes. The winner of one competition can enter the next competition in exactly the same way as other players.

No. Every new Matchday Survivor competition starts with a fresh used-team history.

Your dashboard shows your current competition, survivor status, available fixtures, current confirmed pick and the teams you’ve already used.

First check your junk or spam folder.

If it hasn’t arrived, contact Matchday Survivor so the verification email can be resent.

Yes. Marketing communications are separate from essential account communications.

You can opt out of marketing without deleting your Matchday Survivor account.
